For this option, you will need a 4 AMP Spur (12 volt supply), and doorbell type wire (with a chaser), in order to correctly connect to the blinds motor (and to stay within the motor operational tolerances) Depending on the usage the battery will need charging every 2 – 3 months. The customer is responsible for keeping the blind adequately charged. Please note: if the windows/glass has an existing thermal tint/layer added, the solar panels may need to be installed outside for maximum charging capabilities.
